A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Communications officer. The role of Communications Officer will lead in delivering customer and engagement strategy by producing high quality and effective correspondence in response to a variety of customer enquires/complaints.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Build relationships internally and externally in support of delivering the Customer and Engagement strategy
2. Maintain good working relationships with external stakeholders including Government representatives and public sector organisations.
3. Work closely with the Complaints and FOI Advisors to ensure a consistent and joined up approach
4. Support the wider business with customers management advice and specialist customer Correspondence using sound judgement and previous experience on the most contentious issues
Required Skills and Experience
Experience of developing strong working relationships with internal colleagues, communicating ideas clearly and persuasively
Present compelling arguments to influence and negotiate satisfactory outcomes.
Excellent customer service and communication skills – primarily written – with the ability to understand and interpret complex information.
A strong interest in current affairs and an excellent understanding of the political environment.
Welsh speaking would be advantageous
Excellent analytic skills enabling you to analyse and interpret a range of complex information
