This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated and dedicated band 5 Radiographers to join the team at London North West University Hospitals NHS Trust.
We offer linked grade in a department with new equipment, close proximity to both central London and the countryside, and opportunity to work cross-site.
We also offer training in all modalities and have established advanced practice such as PICC line insertions, Radiographer led HSG lists, GI lists, and reporting to name a few.
Main duties of the job
General responsibilities include:
* To work within a team of radiographic and clerical staff within the Trust.
* To provide a high standard of expertise and care, and lead areas of the department in the absence of the Modality Superintendent.
* To provide a diagnostic imaging service in areas where trained both in and out of normal working hours.
* To help facilitate learning for students and less experienced staff.

* Current HCPC Registration.
* BSc or equivalent in radiography.
Desirable
* Attendance at relevant study days and courses.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
* Experience of A&E, theatre & mobile radiography.
* Experience of working as lone worker in or out of hours.
* Knowledge of IRMER.
* Good knowledge of all general aspects of radiography.
Desirable
* Teaching and training students and other new members of staff.
Skills and Abilities
Essential
* Good written & verbal communication.
* Understanding of teamwork.
