Our Pension Fund Accounting business continues to grow, and we are now looking for an experienced Team Administrator to join our vibrant office with remote or hybrid working. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in an administration or secretarial support role with fast, accurate typing skills.

We undertake pensions administration for over one million members and provide advisory services to schemes and corporate sponsors in respect of schemes of all sizes, including 88 with assets over £1bn.
The Team
Our award-winning pensions administration business puts scheme members at the heart of everything we do. Our services include scheme administration, first-time outsourcing, member communications and scam protection.
The Role
As a Team Administrator within our Pensions Fund Accounting team with XPS you will:
* Typing of Annual Reports & Accounts for all pension schemes on behalf of the Pensions Fund Accountants within tight deadlines.
* Typing, formatting and collating of all other team correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
* Answering the telephone on behalf of the team where appropriate, taking messages and handling any associated queries.
* Ensure accurate and prompt filing of all documentation.
* General office administration including photocopying and if applicable, ordering stationery, couriers etc.
* Promoting and adhering to the XPS workplace values.
* Ensuring company policies and working procedures are implemented and adhered to by self.
* Forging strong working relationships with other teams in order to provide a total service to our clients.
* Ensuring the accurate updating of time recording system (OpenAir) for both chargeable and non-chargeable activities.
Your profile
Essential Criteria
* Good level of education to GCSE or O Level equivalent, including Maths and English.
* Recognised secretarial qualification would be of distinct advantage, e.g. Pitmans, City & Guilds.
* Previous experience in an administration or secretarial support role including copy (and if applicable audio) typing, diary management, meeting coordination, presentations and report formatting, travel and expenses handling, filing and binding.
* Fast and accurate typing speed of 50-60 wpm to RSA or equivalent standard.
* Computer literate in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams with added knowledge of mail merge and strength in document formatting.
* Meticulous attention to detail and the awareness of the need for speed/accuracy in typing abilities in order to meet deadlines.
* Able to listen and follow instructions, procedures and assimilate information quickly in a consistent and accurate manner.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Strong customer focus approach to their work - aware of the need of quality and precision in their delivery.
* Outstanding communicator, able to communicate effectively, professionally and concisely in writing, face to face and over the telephone.
