* Proven experience in a document control leadership role, ideally within the UK water sector or similar infrastructure industry.
* Strong working knowledge of ProjectWise and AssetWise platforms.
* Excellent understanding of document control principles, ISO standards, and lifecycle document management.
* Experience in supervising or mentoring other document control staff.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
* Lead document control operations across large-scale water infrastructure projects, ensuring smooth document flow between internal teams, contractors, and clients.
* Manage ProjectWise and AssetWise environments to align with project needs and client requirements. Ensure that all documentation is properly received, checked, tracked, and distributed in accordance with the project document control procedure.
* Develop, maintain, and enforce document control processes, protocols, and metadata standards.
* Liase with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of documentation workflows.
* Supervise and support a team of document controllers and administrators, providing guidance and training as required.
* Produce and monitor document status reports, KPIs, and compliance metrics for senior management and clients.
* Facilitate the successful handover of documentation to clients at project close-out, ensuring all records meet asset management and regulatory standards.
* Contribute to continual improvement of document management processes.
