We have a great opportunity to join our education team as a Library Support Officer at HMP Five Wells (Wellingborough) for Novus, our prison education provider, offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 37 hours per week.
What the role entails:
To keep the library organised and efficient by identifying and ordering new stock/cataloguing etc. Supporting learners and promote engagement with the library provision to progress and develop as independent readers. For example: facilitating book/chess clubs, management of the outreach library facility, training mentors and implementing events.

To be successful in the role, you will need:
1. To hold Level 3 Library and Information Services qualification or be willing to work towards achieving within an agreed timescale.
2. To hold Level 2 in Literacy, Numeracy.
