Who is NobleCare? NobleCare is an award-winning provider of high-quality care for people with learning disabilities and mental health needs. So, what will I actually be doing? A care support worker’s role involves working with vulnerable people in different ways. You will be helping people who have learning disabilities, autism and mental health problems. Some people may need emotional support to get them through a difficult time, while others will need a more hands-on approach to take them out on activities. In the evenings you will support residents with their bedtime routines and when they are asleep you will busy yourself getting things ready for the team the next day and checking that residents are safe. What do the people you care for tell us they want from you? A happy and positive attitude To involve us in tasks To learn the best way to communicate with us Keep us safe Cook nice meals Involve us in conversations Money, money, money You will receive between £10.47 and £11.59 per hour. We will also offer you a generous benefits package that includes no travel for work, full shifts, a pension scheme, paid holidays and meals on duty. We will also provide full induction and training programmes that lead to recognised diplomas. OK, I'm interested But is it the job for me? Do you love making a difference in people’s lives no matter how small? Then this may be the right job for you. We prefer you to have some care experience, although this is not essential. Patience and a willingness to support people with who need your help is key. If successful, you will require an enhanced DBS check. You will also be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
