We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Risk Governance Manager to join our team, as a result of growth. This role will be part of a team of risk specialists within a fast-paced and results-oriented environment. A bit about the job:
Within this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to identify, assess, monitor, and report on risks across Aviva.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for supporting external and conduct reporting through to Boards to demonstrate that good customer outcomes are being delivered, in line with Consumer Duty. In addition, you will provide guidance and support to business divisions on the identification, assessment, and management of risks, conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks, and assess the likelihood and impact of those risks on the organization. This will include supervising the effectiveness of risk management activities, developing and delivering risk reports and dashboards to senior management.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Experience of working in a governance, risk, or regulatory compliance role within financial services.
2. An understanding of regulatory compliance, governance, risk management.
3. Structured, methodical thinker with an ability to engage and positively impact stakeholders at all levels.
4. Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify the root cause and resolve performance blockages.
5. Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies.

Salary: up to £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity: 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
