We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Valuer to join our Projects & Property Team. The Projects & Property Team is responsible for the transformation, development, and management of the council's estate through its Strategic Asset Management Plan.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with contractors, colleagues across the organisation, and with our partners in North Somerset to ensure all our assets are well managed and delivering the expected outcomes. The Valuer will support the delivery of the Council's Strategic Asset Management Plan, including the development of the Corporate Landlord Model of estate management. You will have knowledge and experience of the property and asset functions, which could include rationalisation and delivery of council accommodation, acquisition and disposals, and landlord and tenant activities. Additionally, you will support the provision of a Valuation and Estate Management Service covering Valuations, Landlord and Tenant, and all aspects of managing the Council's Commercial, Agricultural & Housing Estates.
Valid driving licence and own transport, or the ability to provide an alternative, suitable method of travel, is an essential condition for this role.

1. 2-3 days in the office
2. Works both from home and the office, depending on the task at hand.
Training is provided to help balance work-life and manage time effectively, with an emphasis on communication for team touchpoints and planning in-office days for collaboration.
