We are currently looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our stores team at our Barlborough Hospital.
This role is 37.5 hours a week spread over 3-4 days. We work 12.5hrs per shift between 07.30hrs - 20.00hrs.

What you'll be doing
Support the professional staff with the overall responsibility for all patients on the inpatient Ward. The scope of the role will include but not be limited to:
* Welcoming/greeting patients to the ward area.
* Answering the telephone, recording and delivering messages accurately and to the appropriate person.
* Assisting in the ordering and monitoring of stores and stock rotation.
* Running errands to other departments.
* Supporting other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
What we'll look for in you
We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard, learn and develop in the role, but most importantly someone who understands the value of teamwork and a good work ethic.
The ideal applicant will have:
* An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and be willing to undertake training to gain further clinical skills.
* Experience or a good understanding of HCA duties and responsibilities.
* The ability to receive and communicate information accurately and take instruction from professional colleagues.
* The flexibility to fit into an internal rotating shift pattern.
