Investment Support Administrator (Reporting Teams)
A fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading independent financial advisory and wealth management firms in our existing Investment team. We are looking for those of you who wish to join and grow with us as a business in our Bromsgrove office with hybrid working opportunities. Purpose
A desk-based process-driven role to generate and produce Client reports. Good attention to detail, adherence to all processes and procedures, and responding to low-risk team queries are key elements in this non-Client facing post.
Responsibilities:
1. Generate targeted number of DIS/IAS/PMS reports
2. Complete all tasks delegated by the Investment Support Supervisor and the Investment Support Senior Administrators to meet SLAs
3. Collation and recording of current client data relating to investment holdings
4. Updating of fund breakdown and information on XPLAN
5. Delivering accurate reports efficiently
6. Direct contact with Providers
7. Providing support for the other services where required
8. Respond to telephone and low-risk inbox queries, escalating where necessary
9. Maintain agreed diary management and record-keeping processes relating to reporting, to ensure appropriate audit trails are kept in line with the company and compliance standards.
10. Maintain a clear understanding of the concept of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
11. Strictly adhere to GDPR regulations and how AFH Wealth Management seeks to comply with FCA requirements.
12. Stay up to date with AFH Group procedures and standards in relation to anti-money laundering, fraud awareness, confidentiality and complete training and assessment as required
13. Any reasonable request made by Director/Senior Manager of the Company
Experience, knowledge and qualifications:
1. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
2. Working knowledge of Pershing’s Nexus, XPLAN software systems is desirable but not essential
3. Knowledge of TCF Principles and how they apply to the individual role
4. Accuracy and high attention to detail
5. Ability to prioritise work
6. Initiative
7. Teamwork and collaboration
8. Personal planning, organisation and time management
9. Very good communication skills - written and verbal
10. Good internet/online skills for fund provider queries
11. Thinking outside the box
