We are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 pupil on a 1:1 basis within the classroom. This position is starting ASAP and is continuing until the end of the academic year As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 support to a Year 6 pupil with SEMH needs. Assist the Class Teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Support the implementation of the National Curriculum at Key Stage 2 (KS2). Work closely with the school's SEN team to implement tailored learning strategies. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment in the Primary School. Monitor and report on pupil progress to the Class Teacher and SENCO. Required Skills and Experience: Previous UK school experience is essential. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. Experience working within a Primary School setting. Knowledge of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 2 (KS2). Strong behaviour management skills and experience supporting SEMH students. Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
