You will: Deliver curriculum in person to students, with approximately 24 contact hours per week Design curriculum for hands-on classes (physics, chemistry, maths, and digital technology) Deliver engaging learning activities that promote critical thinking and problem solving, and encourage students to become life-long learners Develop lesson plans and learning materials Deliver STEM-orientated instruction (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) through Project-Based Learning methods Establish clear objectives for all lessons, curricular units, and projects, and communicate these objectives to the students Assess student progress and achievement in a variety of ways on a regular basis, providing reports as required SALARY AND BENEFITS Gross salary circa SAR 18,500/ £3,900 per month (this includes housing and other allowances) TAX FREE 30 working days annual leave KSA national holidays Mobilisation & demobilisation Flights Comprehensive medical insurance End of service benefits EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE To be considered for this role, you MUST possess the following qualifications and attributes: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering/STEM/Education Teaching qualification to level 4 (working towards level 5 within 2 years) Have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level Experience in delivering STEM learning, particularly in practical STEM workshops and in the delivery of problem-solving engineering projects Experience in working within 3rd Millennium learning environments and with digital devices and peripherals, particularly CAM-controlled engineering machinery, including 3D printers Proven experience in effectively applying experiential learning practice Proven experience of sound formative assessment to inform learner progress and achievement Proven experience in working in partnership with other colleagues to design and deliver an integrated curriculum KEY COMPETENCIES We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and abilities: Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices Strong problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated track record of identifying and meeting needs proactively Strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to set priorities in a dynamic and complex environment to meet critical deadlines and milestones Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to own professional development Creative and energetic
