Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare legal documents, letters, and correspondence as directed by the Employment team.
* Manage client files and ensure they are accurately maintained and up to date.
* Organise and schedule meetings, appointments, and court dates for fee earners.
* Draft and proofread documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
* Handle client queries and maintain excellent client relationships.
* Process and manage time recording and billing for fee earners.
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail and ensure effective communication with clients and third parties.
* Support the team in various administrative tasks as required.
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Profile
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a law firm.
* Previous experience in Employment Law is beneficial but not required.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software applications.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
