Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for a market leader in their field, in their search for a Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role and will live within commutable distance to Leatherhead as this is an office based role, although flexibility is offered on the working hours. Main Duties: Recording all financial transactions Raising sales invoices and purchase orders Handling accounts payable and receivable invoices Maintaining company ledgers, posting journals for payroll, accruals, and prepayments Setting up payments, recording transactions and reconciling the bank account Processing credit card transactions and staff expenses Credit control for accounts receivable Preparing annual company budgets Preparing balance sheet reconciliation schedule for company’s accountants Preparing and submitting VAT returns Preparing quarterly OPEX and expenses reports for cross charges within the group Gathering monthly information for external payroll administrators Preparing year-end statutory accounts for accountants and submission of all supporting documents About You: Excellent administrative and data entry skills High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Good numeracy and literacy skills Good interpersonal and client service skills Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Able to plan tasks and prioritise effectively
