What to Expect
What You'll Do
* Reporting to the Principal Control Software Engineer, the Transmission Controls Software Engineer will be working on all aspects to define, design and deliver transmission control functions including requirements, interfaces, and algorithms.
* Implementing control functions in MATLAB Simulink/Stateflow.
* C-code generation and analysis.
* Conducting SW components testing using MIL and SIL techniques.
* Testing SW components within the system on the HIL.
* SW components verification & validation against requirements.
* Working cross-functionally to deliver SW components.
What You'll Bring
* MSc Mechanical or Automotive Engineering Degree.
* Model-based, auto-coded software prototyping and production implementation.
* Support vehicle software testing and calibration.
* Good control theory background.
* Good knowledge of control and calibration of hydraulic or transmission systems.
* Good knowledge of transmission system at architecture level.
* Software requirements capture and detailed software design into specifications.
* Model-based control software development and verification.
* AUTOSAR software components generation and integration.
* Verification testing in MIL, SIL and HIL environments, and in-vehicle integration.
* Compliance to industry standards such as ISO26262 and ASPICE.
* Mechanical or Automotive Engineering Degree 2:1 or above.
