Job summary This training is for a nurse with relevant qualifications to undertake the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) training in order to become a health visitor. This is run as a joint programme between CNQL NHS Trust and either KCL or Brunel University. All university Tuition Fees are paid by the NHS. Applicants must be registered Nurses or Midwives with a current NMC registration and have an interest in addressing the health needs of the children and families. During the course your time will be split between practical training within our 0-19 Teams and academic study. Practice placements are offered in Hillingdon and Harrow. The course commences September 2025 and it is for one year, fixed term contract. Through out the training you will be gaining your clinical experience with The 0-19 Service (health visiting) where you will have a supervisor and an assessor.
