The Role: We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time, Line Leader based in Telford, doing double-day shifts 6am-2pm & 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be accountable for a team of workers, ensuring high quality parts are manufactured and delivered to our customers on time, at the right cost and in a safe manner. Complying with company Quality and Environmental Management, Health & Safety policies, and procedures, you will ensure the requirements are understood and maintained by all team members. You will take prompt action to highlight and rectify risks, supporting the H&S Specialist to identify any previously unknown hazards. You will ensure that all products are manufactured to the correct specifications and standards, managing product changes within the requirements of the business and customer protocols, this will include performing regular process and product audits, putting in place robust actions to close out any concerns. This role is required to ensure adequate and systematic forward planning is established and implemented to manage running changes through to new platform launches. This will be inclusive of capacity, workforce headcount and build forward planning. You will continually monitor people and process performance to ensure optimisation and improve the economical use of consumable items. About You: Experience and knowledge of assembly processes in the automotive sector, preferably Tier 1 Able to work under pressure within a highly demanding environment, managing the expectations of key stakeholders Able to work flexibly on own initiative, making decisions to improve efficiencies within the production line Able to deal with first line quality issues with team members and customers Can identify areas for continuous improvement to increase customer satisfaction rates Experience of compiling reports on the request of the Production Manager to identify key performance trends Willingness to learn new skills and adaptability to meet the changing needs of customer, business, and industry requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in a team leading role Salary £13.48 12% shift allowance Annual salary £29,425.50 Additionally you can expect 25-days annual leave BH, a contributory pension scheme, and private healthcare.
