Job title: Support Worker (nights)
Pay rate: From £9.50 per hour to £10.23 per hour at weekends
Location: Dunwood Court, Salisbury Road, Sherfield English, Nr Romsey SO51 6GR.
Hours: Working every other week on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, 20:00-08:00 (accommodation provided whilst on shift)

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated Support Worker to join our team to cover alternate Thursday, Saturday and Sunday nights, 8pm-8am.
Your duties will be varied and wide ranging, supporting our independent Homeowners where needed.You need to be happy working independently, using your own initiative.
You’ll be a visible and reassuring presence for Owners, being part of a team that helps to provide security and peace of mind 24 hours a day with the knowledge that someone is at hand if needed. You will help to maintain the communal areas, provide a safe environment for our Homeowners and support with activities within the development.

About you
The successful person will have fantastic customer care skills, be empathetic and enjoy a busy and varied role. Previous experience as a Support Worker is not essential, however you will have a background in customer service, hospitality, retail or the care industry.
You will be both supportive and reassuring and able to maintain confidentiality.You’ll know when to act with sensitivity and diplomacy but also have the efficiency and assertiveness to manage the safety of the Owners and the security of the development.
To support with the maintenance administration of the site, you’ll have basic computer skills with previous experience of using email.
