We’re here to help make Britain a healthier nation. As the largest Healthcare Charity in the UK, we give our nursing colleagues more time to care and get to know our patients. For you, this promises an exciting opportunity to help shape the highest standards in care inside an enviable working environment.
We are looking for an experienced breast care specialist nurse to join our agile and highly energised multidisciplinary team. As a Specialist Nurse, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. You’ll have a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience across a range of specialties and levels of complexity.
As a Breast Care Specialist Nurse you will:
1. Be supported by our Clinical Head of Department, with autonomy to utilise your acquired expertise and skills to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
2. Work closely with a breast care surgeon during outpatient clinics.
3. Be competent in wound care and support the patient and their family throughout their patient journey.
4. Engage in exciting, varied, and challenging work, enabling you to develop new skills and grow.
We actively support you to be the best you can be in your role while also offering opportunities to progress.
Helping you feel good
We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy, and valued. That’s why we’ve developed a benefits package with you in mind, including holiday in line with the Working Time Directive, access to our Pension Scheme, and discounted gym membership at £15.00 a month.
Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
Our modern, well-equipped hospital provides a range of services and treatments from outpatients and minor procedures to inpatients and major surgical specialties. We are established as one of the leading providers of healthcare in the area and have just completed a major refurbishment of the Endoscopy Unit. With excellent patient satisfaction rates, we are proud of our reputation for clinical excellence and outstanding care.
We pride ourselves on great patient feedback and are a very welcoming and friendly hospital that cares for our staff as well as our patients.
