The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Surveyor to join our team on a 6-month contract supporting a high-profile infrastructure project in Northwest England. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your surveying expertise in a technically challenging environment, contributing to a nationally significant project. If you’re an experienced surveyor ready to take on a rewarding challenge and contribute to a project of national importance, we’d love to hear from you. What will I be doing in my new role? Deliver high-precision engineering and setting-out surveys using a range of equipment, including total stations, GPS, data collectors and GNSS systems Collaborate with site teams, engineers, and designers to ensure survey requirements are met efficiently and accurately Utilisation of post processing software such as AutoCAD, StarNet and BRICSCAD. Maintain and manage survey control networks Ensure all work is carried out in line with project-specific safety, security, and quality protocols Support project reporting and documentation in compliance with client and regulatory requirements Any other duties as required by the business. Requirements of the role: Have relevant qualifications (Surveying, Geomatics or Engineering) and/or 3 years of relevant experience. Fundamental knowledge of the principles and practices of surveying. Understand scopes of work and project requirements. Have strong knowledge of current CAD technology. Experience working in infrastructure and construction. Possess a full clean UK/ International Manual Drivers’ licence. Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients. Possess a CSCS card or be prepared to start the process.
