About us
We are a proud Western Australian success story and a family centred practice. TSH (formally Telethon Speech & Hearing) provides integrated services for children with hearing loss and/or speech and language difficulties from newborns to 18-year-olds. A team of education professionals work collaboratively alongside allied health professionals to empower children to hear, communicate, connect and learn.
About the role
We are currently seeking a permanent full time School Administration Officer to support our school programs and leadership team.
This is not your average School Administration Officer role! Not only is TSH a registered school, but we are also a speech therapy clinic, an audiology clinic, a regional ear health service provider and a venue hire business! Our main reception is overseen by our clinical services front of house team allowing this role to focus on supporting our school leadership team who manage our highly regarded Outpost and Talkabout Programs.
School purchasing, event coordination, school system expertise and utilisation, absence follow up, appointment scheduling, responding to family enquiries, internal and external communication and supporting our quality improvement work are all part of the responsibilities of this newly created role.
About You
To be successful, you will have extensive school administration experience combined with highly developed organisational skills to be able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities. A warm and professional approach to support our family centred practice, child safety focus and organisational values is not negotiable.
The successful candidate will need to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
At Telethon Speech & Hearing, you will find an environment that is welcoming, inclusive and supportive, where our employees take pride in the work they undertake, the relationships that they build and the difference they make in the lives of the WA children and families we support.
Enquiries regarding this opportunity can be directed to Natalie Tarr, Principal, on 9387-9888.
To apply, please submit your application (including a covering letter and CV) via SEEK by 9am Wednesday, 20th November 2024.
TSH is an equal opportunity employer and we encourage people from different backgrounds to apply, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds and people with disabilities.
