We have an excellent opportunity to join our Fortem team as a Carpenter Multi working permanently with our partners at Orbit Housing in our Social Housing Responsive Repairs & Maintenance team. The successful Carpenter will work and support our Voids team. You will be responsible for most aspects of property maintenance and repairs to Social Housing Properties which stretch from Stratford Upon Avon, Leamington Spa, Coventry and surrounding areas (Therefore travel is essential).
Core Hours: Monday-Friday 8.00am-4.30pm

As Carpenter Multi you will be ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of supervision; taking ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs, operating within the company Health and Safety guidelines, and remaining within budget and time parameters, whilst being courteous and professional around the tenants.
The Customer
Fortem’s contract with Orbit Housing covers over 17,000 properties across Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Nuneaton, Northampton, Milton Keynes and Bedford. We have multiple workstreams, including Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and Re-Roofing. Duties and Responsibilities
The Carpenter Multi trade Duties will include:
1. Completing repairs and maintenance for social housing properties as per the specification, working in a timely and productive manner.
2. Advising Supervisor in a timely manner when other trades are required.
3. Working in partnership with other operatives to complete projects.
4. Recording and submitting accurate data using relevant business systems electronic devices.
5. Affording excellent customer service to client representatives.
6. Arranging purchase of materials required to deliver the works in a planned and efficient manner.
7. Comply with safeguarding policy and H&S standards at all times.
8. Operating within the company’s occupational road risk policies and procedures.
What You Will Need
Essential criteria:
1. NVQ/qualifications in Relevant Trade or equivalent OR qualified by experience will be considered.
2. Full UK driving licence (Max 5 points).
