Job summary The post is based in the Estates Department. Work undertaken will cover the Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust property portfolio which includes remote locations. All team members are routinely required to work unsupervised within departmental standard operating procedures and to prioritise their work schedule. A requirement to take part in the Estates out of hours On-Call rota, being 1 in every 4-6 weeks. Main duties of the job Working under and in close cooperation with Estates Officers be fully responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a multi-disciplined workforce delivering a wide variety of works as required to provide and maintain a safe, suitable and sufficient built environment in an acute hospital. Provide guidance and support for staff and contractors on all issues within your area of responsibility, including those that are complex or non-routine, identifying problems and solutions, managing minor works, and contractors.
