Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mobile App Developer to play a key role in leading our digital transformation efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing cutting-edge mobile applications, as well as a passion for driving technological advancements within a dynamic organization. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mobile applications that enhance user experience and streamline business processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies, ensure scalability, and stay ahead of industry trends, all while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality, user-friendly mobile solutions. Responsibilities
Mobile App Development:
Design, develop, and maintain native android and cross-platform mobile applications using Kotlin and React Native.
Collaborate with stakeholders and the wider development team to deliver high-quality mobile applications.
Implement user interfaces that provide excellent UX/UI and integrate well with mobile device features.
Code Quality & Testing:
Write clean, reusable and scalable code.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the app is free of bugs and performs optimally.
Continuously seek to improve app performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with a team of business analysts, developers and QA testers to implement features accurately and responsively.
Collaborate in an Agile team environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and daily standups.
Stay updated on the latest mobile development trends and technologies, proposing enhancements to improve the mobile development process.
Requirements - Technical Skills
5+ years’ experience developing mobile applications, preferably using Kotlin and React Native.
Solid understanding of mobile app architecture patterns and libraries.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Expo framework for React Native development.
Knowledge of Elixir desirable but not essential.
Experience with mobile app debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with cloud services such as Firebase, Heroku or similar.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
Proven track record of managing app development from design through to deployment.
Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum ceremonies.
