Main duties of the job
The Future Workforce Engagement Coordinator will:
1. Coordinate the effective and smooth operations of the engagement function within Future Workforce.
2. Support the delivery of key results aligned with the Health Boards Workforce Strategy and Future Workforce plans.
3. Develop and deliver a comprehensive school engagement programme across the three geographical counties.
4. Work closely with the Apprenticeship Academy Coordinator and the Future Workforce coordinator to ensure apprenticeships, work experience and volunteering are promoted efficiently and effectively through networks such as schools, job centres, training providers, further and higher education institutions and other relevant networks.
5. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support widening access across the Health Board geographical locality.
6. Assess the quality and evaluate the impact of the Future Workforce Engagement function to match the requirements of Hywel Dda University Health Board services.

Qualifications and Knowledge
* Degree or equivalent experience
* PGCE or equivalent
* Knowledge of apprenticeships, volunteering and work experience in a public body setting
* An understanding of the locality served by the Health Board and its social and economic character
Experience
* NHS/Public Sector experience
* Experienced in the delivery of training
* Proven experience of coordinating apprenticeships, volunteering and/or work experience
* Supervisory experience
* Networking and working across organisational boundaries
* Clinical Practice experience
Other
* Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner
