What you will do:
1. Assess the needs for social work services, identifying risks and required interventions to improve individual and family quality of life.
2. Collaborate and liaise with other professionals and agencies to deliver the best possible services to clients.
3. Manage and monitor an allocated workload, ensuring compliance with individual and group priorities and Council policies.
4. Maintain accurate records of work undertaken while fulfilling necessary administrative tasks.
5. Prepare for, attend, and contribute to supervision sessions and staff meetings, utilising all available training opportunities.
6. Share knowledge and innovations in services with other social services staff and professional groups.
Requirements:
1. DipSW (post graduate diploma) or equivalent (e.g. CQSW, CSS)
2. Social Work Degree, or equivalent
3. Experience of working in a statutory Social Work Service (including carrying out assessments at point of crisis or significant change in service user's life) - achieved PQ1 or equivalent
