We are pleased to be working closely with a reputable engineering company who are based in Huddersfield and currently looking for an accounts assistant to join them on a full time, permanent basis. You will be doing a hands on varied role and will report into the finance manager.
Responsibilities include:
* Bank reconciliations
* Processing purchase ledger invoices
* Weekly payment runs
* Matching and coding invoices
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Cash allocation
* Petty cash management
* Assisting with VAT returns
* Assisting with time sheets/wages
* Assisting the finance manager with other ad hoc duties
Skills:
* Strong IT skills and usage of accounting software
