Vacancy Details
In the Talent & Recruitment Assistant position, you will provide support with recruitment activities and onboarding administration for new starters across the group to meet high volume requirements.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in recruitment, as they will be involved in all aspects of end-to-end recruitment, with a particular focus on the onboarding of new starters.
Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Processing all new starters through our onboarding portal, owning the process and ensuring all new starter paperwork and queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
* First point of contact for the recruitment inbox.
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the experienced hires recruitment team, including CV reviewing, scheduling interviews, coordinating meetings, and liaising with candidates and hiring managers where required.
* Supporting the recruitment team with administration for early careers recruitment, CV reviewing, and assessment centre coordination.
* Supporting with timesheet processing for agency temporary workers.
* Organising new starters' IT requests, HR & SHE inductions.
* Supporting with ensuring recruiting compliance standards are adhered to.
Key Skills & Experience
As a member of the HR team, you will be working with sensitive, confidential data, so discretion and confidentiality are essential skills. You will need to be a confident communicator with great attention to detail. Ideally, someone who is currently pursuing or has recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Additionally:
* Previous experience working in an administration position; the ability to work in a team/virtual team is essential.
* Accurate and timely delivery of tasks coupled with excellent organisational skills.
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of equal opportunities and maintain confidentiality at all times.
* Experience using IT systems such as Microsoft Office Suite.
