Key Responsibilities of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant: Provide 1:1 support to a student with specific learning needs. Assist with the student’s academic progress and personal development. Support the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities. Monitor and record the student’s progress, reporting any concerns to the class teacher. Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning environment. The Perfect Fit: Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable). A patient, empathetic approach and the ability to adapt to different learning styles. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students. A passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their goals.
