We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Potters Bar and help us continue to provide outstanding care to our patients and clients.
As a member of our team, you will work closely with our clinical team and have the opportunity to develop your skills as you help to grow and develop our practice. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, highly organised, and comfortable working with autonomy in a small, busy practice.
Located in Potters Bar, our practice is conveniently close to local amenities, shops and transport links. We have a diverse and varied caseload, and our facilities are fully equipped to handle the services we provide.
At Village Vet Potters Bar, we pride ourselves on our well-equipped facility, which includes digital X-rays, ultrasound, HT Vista, a range of surgical equipment and laboratory equipment. Our dedicated support staff include two Client Care Assistants, a SVN and Lead RVN, who work together to provide the best possible care to our patients.
Role of the RVN
The RVN's clinical responsibilities include nurse consultations, assisting with procedures, monitoring patients under anaesthesia and providing associated peri-operative care. The role will primarily focus on clinical duties with some administrative tasks, including stock management, maintenance of equipment, and clinical supervisor/mentor support.
