Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Procurement Officer to join our Finance and Compliance Team based in London.

To help our teams focus on delivering life-changing support, our Procurement Team ensures that all Centrepoint Directorates receive best-value, compliant, and strategic procurement services. We drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance, ensuring that goods and services meet our high standards.

What You’ll Be Doing
1. Advising & guiding procurement behaviour across Centrepoint.
2. Providing comprehensive management information on current and prospective procurement contracts.
3. Reviewing and approving new suppliers, conducting risk analysis and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
4. Monitoring supplier spend to ensure financial compliance and cost-effective purchasing.
5. Prioritising value for money in all procurement activities, embedding social value in evaluations, and leveraging supplier networks to create opportunities for young people.
6. Analysing market trends and supplier performance to inform strategic procurement decisions, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
7. Developing new processes and strategies to enhance procurement operations.
