Sales Support Intern – Basildon

The role
Reporting to the Business Intelligence and Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for the administration of the company’s parts price support programmes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all price support requests from the Dealer network and the Parts Sales Managers. Furthermore, you will play a leading role in defining an effective management process, reporting of data and carrying out audit checks on programmes. Clear presentation of data and ‘customer’ focus (meaning internal and external customers) are key.
In addition, you will be responsible for market research of parts pricing, utilising tools and the company dealer network to ensure the price point is correct for future programmes.
Duties:
• Communicating with all levels of management (Written & Verbal)
• Ensure a timely response to price support requests
• Carry out regular audit checks on price support payments
• Build and run ad-hoc reports within Microsoft Excel
• Research pricing of parts for future programmes
• Support other members of the sales support team when needed
• General administration tasks
Skills and experience required:
• Highly organised, demonstrating an ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while retaining attention to detail.
• Demonstrable experience analysing large data sets with high proficiency using Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communicator with excellent presentation skills (advanced Microsoft Office skills).
• Motivated by challenge and capable to work under pressure and short deadlines.
• Native English written and spoken language is required.
• Qualifications Bachelors / Master’s degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics / Business or a similar field.
• Experience/proficiency using Microsoft Excel.
This is a hybrid opportunity working on site at Basildon, Essex with free parking.
Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm 37.5 Hrs per week
Generous Holiday entitlement
£25,000 - £27,000 per annum plus bens.
