We are looking for a Job Coach to join our friendly team at Banbury College. The successful candidate will support young people with SEND who are on the Employability programmes within the Learner with Learning Difficulties or Disabilities (LLDD) department.
As a Job Coach, you will be supporting and developing our students of all abilities to gain essential employability skills within our Learning Companies. You will be expected to work closely with the Learning Company Coordinator to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the companies. This role would require you to work across all learning companies as and when required.
You will also be assessing and monitoring students’ progress and supporting students to plan and achieve their learning outcomes and targets.
This is a fixed-term, term time only position, working 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday. The role is fixed-term until August 2025.
What do you need to be a successful SEND Job Coach at Activate Learning?
You will have significant experience of working with young people with SEND in a teaching or training environment and be able to break down and simplify job roles and to give clear and explicit instructions. With excellent communications skills, you will also be able to build positive networks and relationships with others. Experience of working in an FE environment is desirable.
