What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an inspiring and outstanding classroom practitioner to join our Mathematics team here at Myton; we are looking for someone who is ambitious and able to share their enthusiasm and passion for Mathematics with all their students and colleagues.
Our Mathematics department is a thriving and supportive team of 11 well-qualified mathematicians, led by Mr. Adam Ealden, Head of Department. We are proud to have 11 brand-new, fully equipped teaching rooms, each featuring a classroom PC, whiteboard, and interactive screen, ensuring a modern and engaging learning environment. The subject is highly popular at A level, with over 90 students currently studying Mathematics in the sixth form and more than 120 applications for Year 12 in 2025. Many of our students’ progress to study Mathematics at A2 level, achieving excellent results year after year.
