We are seeking a Deputy Headteacher for Inclusion to champion safeguarding, inclusion, and high standards across the school.
About The Candidate
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead inclusion strategies for pupils with SEND, EAL, and additional needs.
2. Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, liaising with external agencies to ensure child protection.
3. Oversee behaviour, attendance and SEND frameworks, fostering a calm, respectful school culture.
4. Collaborate with families to improve outcomes and engagement.
5. Lead staff professional development in inclusive practices.
6. Manage an inclusion team, including attendance officer, pastoral officers and the school’s SENDCo.
7. Ensure inclusion is central to school improvement priorities.

1. Proven leadership experience in inclusion, safeguarding, and school improvement.
2. Expertise in supporting SEND, EAL, and vulnerable pupils with a track record of raising outcomes.
3. Strong communication skills to engage with staff, children, families, and external partners.
4. Someone with the passion and excitement for a new improvement journey.
5. A commitment to developing confident citizens within our community and beyond.
