Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team at Southeastern Tile Connection Inc. This role is responsible for cultivating and expanding our sales presence in the tile industry by focusing on builder, Architect and Designer (A&D), and dealer accounts outside our showroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, maintaining customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of our business. This position requires the ability to lift, move, and build displays that weigh up to 50 pounds. A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are also required, as a company vehicle will be provided to perform work duties. Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute a comprehensive sample and pricing program tailored to meet the needs of new and existing builder, A&D, and dealer accounts. Identify market trends and opportunities to drive sales growth. Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to track progress and meet sales targets. Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture professional relationships with current and prospective builder, A&D, and dealer accounts. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly. Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Market Expansion: Identify and target potential clients and markets for tile products outside the showroom area. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and materials to support market expansion efforts. Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote our products and services. Sales Reporting and Administrative Duties: Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management, detailing progress, challenges, and opportunities. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales-related expenses. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and fulfillment. Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors' offerings. Continuously improve product knowledge to effectively communicate the benefits and features of our tile products. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the tile or construction industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Must be able to lift, move, and build displays that weigh up to 50 pounds. Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory. A company vehicle will be provided for work duties.
