Job summary Calling all Mental Health Occupational Therapists This is an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Occupational TherapistRedbridge Integrated Care Directorate invites applications for the post of Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist/Care coordinator within the Redbridge Mental Health and Wellness Team (MHWT) - South Our integrated teams provide assessment, brief intervention, andrecovery services to clients in Redbridge. The team consisting of Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Social Workers, Psychiatrists, IPS worker, Peer support workers, STR workers, andPsychologists. The post holder will join a team of Occupational Therapists to provide specialist functional assessments. This will include assessments of dailyliving skills using the Model of Human Occupational assessment tools to ascertain level of functional ability, related risk factors, level of support,and accommodation needs in order to implement community care plans, provide adaptive equipment and maintain a high standard of service usercare. Main duties of the job > You will have the opportunity to jointly lead and support in the facilitation and delivery of group programmes alongside other OT staff, Support Time Recovery Workers, and Peer Support Workers. > You would also have the opportunity to collaboratively work with the IPS employment workers to support service users with their employmentgoals.> The service offers the opportunity to undertake mental health assessments, keywork and, to care coordinate clients in accordance with Care programme Approach (CPA) policy.> Undertake comprehensive assessment of health and social needs together with the service users implement a plan of care and intervention to meet these needs, ensuring regular reviews are in place for evaluation of the care plan.> To ensure carers and family are included and supported and in care planning.> To facilitate and implement the Trust and Local Authority requirements in relation to safeguarding children and guidance legislation within theCare Act 2014. About us Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.
