Electrically Biased Engineer
Location: Rushden, Northants (Within 45 minutes commutable time)

The Role
Our client requires an experienced Electrically Biased Engineer to visit their customer sites and carry out breakdown repair, services, and maintenance. They are looking for someone who loves fixing things, has drive, and wants to get the machines working. This role will challenge you, as you will be working on a wide variety of machines and sites. The ability to diagnose faults and read electrical drawings is crucial for the person that wants to find a solution to getting the customer up and running again.
You could be working on Heidelberg Presses, compactors, balers, shredders, cut and crease machines, and automated feeding systems in industries such as recycling, farming, printing, and processing. This is not a shift role.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Experience in working in an industrial background.
2. The ability to diagnose faults using electrical drawings.
3. Excellent fault-finding skills.
4. Working knowledge of PLCs.
5. Ability to work unsupervised.
6. Excellent customer service skills.
7. Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical engineering.
8. Trade C & G qualification in one of the following: electrical, mechanical, maintenance.
