As the HR Data & Insight Manager, you will lead a team within the HR department, focusing on delivering accurate and comprehensive data analysis and insights through innovative approaches. Your role will involve overseeing the gathering, organisation, and analysis of HR data from various sources, such as employee records, performance reviews, and surveys, with a strong emphasis on innovation to uncover new insights and methodologies. Your primary objective will be to extract meaningful insights and trends from the data, providing valuable information to support strategic decision-making and drive HR initiatives. Emphasising innovation, you will explore new analytical techniques and tools to enhance data interpretation and insight generation.
What You'll Do:
1. Lead the HR data integrity efforts by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of input data. Oversee audits of HR data and troubleshoot irregularities. Implement and support data governance processes, incorporating innovative approaches to enhance data quality and reliability.
2. Manage the collection and handling of HR data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection laws.
3. Conduct in-depth analysis of HR data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the workforce, providing actionable insights to HR and management teams. Utilise innovative analytical techniques to uncover deeper insights.
4. Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR dashboards and reporting tools that present key metrics in an understandable and visually appealing manner.
5. Drive strategic HR initiatives through data-driven recommendations and insights, incorporating innovative approaches to solve complex HR issues and enhance strategic decision-making.
6. Collaborate with HR and other departments to understand their data needs and support them with relevant analytics and reports.
What We're Looking For:
1. Excellent PowerBI skills, including data visualisations.
2. Ability to lead a team collaboratively or work independently as needed, fostering an innovative team environment.
3. Experience with statistical modelling and descriptive statistics would be advantageous.
4. Excellent MS Excel skills, highly analytical with the ability to manipulate large data sets as required.
5. Proven experience in a leadership role within HR analytics, with a strong understanding of HR processes and data, and a track record of innovation in data analysis.
6. A positive customer service ethos, ensuring high levels of service are delivered at all times, responding promptly to project requirements or requests.
7. Strong attention to detail and a desire to operate at a high level of detail, with a focus on innovative ways to enhance data accuracy and insight.
8. Previous experience of working in a managerial data analyst capacity.
