Job Purpose
We are recruiting for a not-for-profit charity organisation seeking an Office Manager who will be responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring the effective day-to-day running of the office. This role is a crucial service-centric environment and passionate mission.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing the Office Team
2. Serving as the Primary Office Contact for Trustees
3. Handling Office Contracts (e.g., phones, services)
4. Organising and Printing Quarterly Newsletters
5. Conducting Audits
6. Performing Month & Year-End Procedures
7. Managing Sales Ledger (Invoicing, Payment Allocation)
8. Performing Bank Reconciliation
9. Handling Credit Control
10. Cash Flow/Forecasting Monthly Management Accounts
11. Budgeting
12. Payroll Management
13. Staff Expenses Management
14. Managing Journals (Opening Balances)
15. Preparing VAT Returns
16. Handling HMRC Documents (e.g., P11D)

Working Hours
31. 35 hours per week, primarily office-based with some home/hybrid working.
32. Some availability to work out of hours may be required (e.g., to attend evening or weekend events and meetings). Time off in lieu will be offered.
