MPI requires a Sales Consultant – Key Accounts, for our client based in Milton Keynes\n\nFull time, 37.5 hours\n\nLocation: Buckinghamshire\n\nThe successful candidate should live in the East of England with quick access to motorway networks (M1 corridor).\n\nThe Company: \n\nProvides automation and fluid control solutions for factory and laboratory applications. Target sectors are automotive, food, beverage & packaging, printing and the life science sectors.\n\nThe UK operation is located at a substantial 14-acre site in Milton Keynes, which houses the UK offices, design, factory, and warehousing.\n\nThe Role: As a Sales Consultant for Key Accounts, you will be responsible for managing large production OEMs across multiple sites. Your primary focus will be on growing the business within the East of England machine & device manufacturers sector by selling to senior management, supply chain, and engineers.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.\nCreate and work to a sales plan.\nDevelop sales by understanding customer needs and building strong relationships.\nPromote corporate value propositions.\nIdentify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.\nMaintain good working relationships with our distributor sales partners.\nMaintain accurate records of sales activities using our CRM system.\n\nSkills and Experience: \n\nCandidates with an engineering background, and a must have proven track record in selling to large customers with multiple contacts across multiple sites.\n\nBenefits: \n\nExtensive sales, product & application training, both in classroom and in-field.\n\nA competitive and attractive package of benefits including retail discounts, life assurance, Private Medical Cover, 25 days holiday including a holiday purchase scheme, a salary sacrifice personal pension plan, and more!\n\nThe Selection Process: Upon successful application, candidates will be asked to undertake online testing, if successful a first interview online, the short list candidates will be invited to a panel interview face-to-face, onsite at the client's main Offices
