Overview of Role:
The Supply Chain & Planning Manager will support the Head of Operations in the service and delivery of maintenance and improvement contracts for the relevant area. Oversight of the planning function and the management of Sub-Contractors and Supply Chain Partners in the area.
Responsible for the delivery of all contract works in line with client KPI requirements and internal targets while ensuring sub-contractors understand their roles. Also ensuring adequate resources, organising the work and closely monitoring to ensure works are being completed safely, on time, to specification, and within cost.
Supporting the Head of Operations in the management of all external resources relating to the Depot is also integral to the role, along with managing the Business and client relationship, ensuring transparency and good channels of communication exist and are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the KPIs in place with clients daily using Daily Huddles / dashboards with the depot's Supervisors, Planners, and administration team monitoring and communication driver for achieving success and ultimately achieving month end targets.
* Driving H&S Compliance in all work practices and monitoring through H&S Inspections carried out by sub-contractors.
* To set up, update and manage a sub-contractor KPI system which follows the same key deliverables in place with our clients.
* Ensure sub-contractors fully comply with all work processes using the IT systems and PDAs in place to manage the high volumes of work.
* Applications management including Accuserv, C-View for contract and sub-contractor management, Accumobile for managing jobs, SharePoint, IMS and any other software or system.
* Ownership of Planning the work with the Depot Planning Team, advising and coaching staff to ensure CFM operate as efficiently as possible.
* Set and drive the Planning standards across the area, working closely with the Lead Planner.
* Monitoring Job Numbers & Workflows ensuring adequate resource is in place to meet the Key Performance Indicators set by clients.
* Support Head of Operations on contract matters, responding to queries and complaints.
* Liaise with QS department on QS matters relevant to sub-contractors.
* Management of all relevant KPI's with prompt daily Corrective Actions in place where necessary.
* Support the management of the Team and any People Management activities.
* Responsible for recruitment requirements, including successful and professional onboarding.
* Assist with and champion Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives within the business.
* Perform the job in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
* Perform any other duties as may be reasonably required.
* Successful implementation and delivery of contracts by sub-contractors that achieve client KPI's & contractual obligations.
* SHEQ compliance.
* Efficient & effective client and internal KPI targets are met and maintained.
* Retaining, managing and developing solid relationships with CFM's subcontractor network.
The Ideal Person:
* Some prior knowledge of basic property maintenance.
* IT Skills & knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* A valid UK Driver's Licence.
* Good communication & interpersonal skills.
* Be able to foster a team ethic with colleagues.
* Ability to focus & remain calm under pressure.
* Able to keep track of multiple tasks or projects.
* Problem solver able to make quick decisions regarding H&S, executing work & disciplinary issues.
* Ability to think outside the box regarding improvements to efficiencies.
* CSR Supervisor Card or NVQ equivalent.
* Previous experience in a Leadership Role.
* Experienced in Construction Industry.
* Previous experience in working on NIHE contracts.
