Job Description
Clerkenwell Health is seeking a skilled Principal Investigator to join our team. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a vital role in the success of our clinical trials.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating clinical research activities on site from study identification to close out and archiving.
* Undertake nursing activities relating to clinical trials from start-up to close out, working to ICH/GCP guidelines
* Review research protocols, identify and coordinate training and education requirements for clinical reports
* Ensure commercial success of the site by contributing to patient recruitment and retention into trials
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in clinical research and managing high-level research activities for trial setup. Key responsibilities include:
* Screening and randomisation of potential study participants
* Conducting informed consent discussions and taking informed consent
* Completing study procedures such as phlebotomy, vital signs, and ECG and reviewing medical histories
* Administering medication as needed
* Scheduling trial visits and tracking enrolled trial participants
* Completing and organising regulatory documents
* Communicating with the Sponsor, regulators, and third-party vendors
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:
* Licensed Registered Nurse qualification
* Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
* Experience in trial delivery in a Clinical Research Facility would be advantageous
