Engineering at the Core: Develop precise 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings, using industry-leading CAD and PDM tools. Tinker and Innovate: Contribute to hardware development and prototype testing, putting your engineering knowledge to work. Document the Future: Prepare vital technical documents such as specifications, manuals, and procedures to ensure seamless project handovers and product clarity. Collaborate to Solve Problems: Work closely with suppliers, production, test, and sales teams, ensuring that everyone has the technical data they need to succeed. Support the Bigger Picture: Assist in key business functions by providing technical insight, supporting bids and quotations, and solving challenges with design and manufacturing teams. Requirements We're looking for an engineer with a strong foundation in design and engineering principles, and a thirst for constant learning and problem-solving. Education & Experience: HND in an engineering discipline or proven experience in an engineering or design role. Tech-Savvy: Experienced with CAD and PDM systems (Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Siemens NX, etc.) with a solid understanding of CAD file formats. Detail-Focused: A solid grasp of geometrical tolerances, ISO/ASME technical drawing standards, and BoM management. Hands-On Knowledge: Practical understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and how large welded/bolted mechanical structures behave under real-world conditions. What will make you stand out? Experience in Medium/Heavy Engineering Familiarity with SAP or ERP/MRP systems. Understanding of Solid Edge and Teamcenter. Previous work with mechanical systems testing and development.
