Energis is currently recruiting for a Trade Sales Manager on behalf of our client in Co Down.
This is a commercial role with the successful Trade Sales Manager playing a pivotal role in enabling the company to continue to expand on the rollout of their trade sales product lines through an establish and growing network of customers throughout the UK and Ireland.
You will be responsible for the management, upkeep and circulation of pricelists for the full range of trade sales product lines, and will liaise directly with trade customers throughout the UK and Ireland to initiate enquiries and generate sales.
Responsibilities:
1. Engage directly with established trade partner network to understand potential requirements for upcoming projects and initiate enquiries for same. Ensure that trade partners are kept up to date on all technical, product and pricing information
2. Liaise with internal estimating and design teams to prepare quotations and concept designs to support pricing return for new enquiries.
3. Submit quotations and supporting documents to trade customers and follow these through to order.
4. Liaise and hold meetings with internal teams to ensure a jointed approach to servicing customer requirements.
5. Liaise with internal Purchasing department and product suppliers to ensure up to date pricing
6. Update cost and sell prices for existing and new product lines and manage upload onto internal integrated stock, trade sales and accounting system.
7. Prepare and issue trade pricelists in advance of implementation date.
8. Carry out due diligence on competitor pricing and product offerings
9. Prepare monthly sales reports for quoted works and track YTD sales vs. annual targets.
Criteria:
10. Min 2 - 3yrs experience of managing product pricing and stock management
11. Previous experience of using stock management and/or CRM systems
12. Commercial awareness and proven ability to convert leads to order
13. Strong Excel skills and computer literate with attention to detail
14. Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers and clients
15. Ability to generate, manage and prioritise workloads
16. Previous experience in a mechanical, building services or plumbing related company is highly desirable
Salary is in the region of £30 – 40k depending on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package including pension, life assurance and generous annual leave.
