Background
Campsites.co.uk is a friendly, fast-growing travel website located just around the corner from Haywards Heath mainline railway station. A platform with thousands of sites to browse and book, you can think of us as a Booking.com equivalent for camping and glamping.
Our mission is to inspire the 12+ million people who use our website each year to get outdoors more often and feel more adventurous.
The culture here encourages everyone to feel a sense of ownership over what they do and best suits those looking to make a real contribution and be well appreciated for it.
The role
Part of our business development team, this is a full-time (largely inbound) sales role, focused on helping us grow the number of bookable campsites we work with.
Working from our offices, with occasional visits to campsites and trade shows as necessary, you’ll have a natural, customer-driven approach to supporting each campsite to achieve its full potential.
Our sales style is friendly, conversational and relationship-driven. The exposure we provide to campsites tends to sell itself, so our sales efforts are focused on consistency of process, rather than hard targets.
In a perfect world, you'll have some relevant sales experience, though you shouldn't be afraid to apply based on talent alone. If the role sounds like you then we'd encourage you to apply even if your experience can't tick every box yet.
Responsibilities
* Handling inbound sales enquiries
* Building trusted relationships with assigned accounts and communicating upgrade opportunities
* Liaising with other internal teams to handover relationships when sites upgrade

A travel background or passion for the outdoors would be a bonus, but is not essential (we’ll work on convincing you if necessary!).
