A well-known Facilities business, based just outside of Bury St Edmunds, is looking for a Credit Control Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis!
Offering a wide range of services within the local area and experiencing a busy period alongside welcomed growth, this business now requires a Credit Control Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis!
Duties Include:
1. Reconciling BACS receipts into the booking system on a daily basis
2. Reconciling booking system receipts to bank statements
3. Following up unallocated receipts, identifying and allocating payments from the unallocated list, and contacting customers for missing remittances
4. Chasing outstanding customer invoices by email and telephone
5. Negotiating with customers to recover outstanding amounts
6. Raising credit notes
7. Dealing with email and telephone queries regarding credit control
8. Issuing copy invoices on request
9. Sending out monthly statements
10. Follow up monthly customer statement queries
11. Liaising with debt collection agencies for recovery of non-responding overdue debtors
12. Liaising with area Managers for account resolutions and chasing of local outstanding debts
13. Creating manual invoices
14. Liaising with other Bureau team members for customer payment issues
15. General ad-hoc duties, as and when requested
16. Reporting to Credit control
