Main Duties/Responsibilities
Your role includes:
* Assessing referrals, delivering therapy, coordinating with psychology colleagues, and conducting medication reviews
* Formulating care plans, prescribing treatments, and guiding evidence-based practices
* Supporting patients and families, explaining diagnoses and options clearly
* Communicating with the multidisciplinary team for shared decision-making
* Leading or participating in multidisciplinary teams where appropriate
* Prioritizing patient needs and delegating tasks effectively
* Monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes
* Performing administrative tasks like record-keeping, prescriptions, and treatment monitoring
* Teaching and training junior staff and students
Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications
* MBChB or equivalent
* At least 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years
