Based in the Cumbria area, you will be working alongside knowledgeable and professional within a diverse project team and supply chain.
You will lead from the front and by example and take responsibility for client and client team engagement.

Experience/Qualifications for a Bid Manager
A background in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Project Management is preferred.
Preferably degree or equivalent construction or design qualification.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a background working for a contractor in the commercial new build sector.
Track record of excellent people management skills with the ability to motivate site teams to work to strict build programmes and deadlines & exceed client expectations.
Excellent planning & time management skills with the ability to think ahead & manage risk.
Experience working in a department that allows them to showcase logical thinking skills and verbal communication skills.
Experience of using MS Word, Excel, and InDesign.
Travel as appropriate throughout the UK.
Organise, chair, and attend tender progress meetings, both internal and external.
Preferably degree or equivalent construction or design qualification.
Experience of delivering projects to JSP requirements.
Working with different forms of building contract including JCT, NEC and bespoke.
Understanding of two-stage, single stage and negotiated tendering.
