We are seeking an individual to take on a key role in supporting and co-ordinating our Trainee Solicitors and Apprentices. The role would suit someone with experience in an administrative or co-ordination role, ideally within an HR, recruitment, or early careers environment.

Flex Trainee continues to grow, and we currently have over 70 legal trainees and apprentices seconded to a variety of in-house legal teams, including BioNTech, Tesco, Fremantle Media, Mars, Ford, and Santander. Key Responsibilities
You will play a crucial role in supporting our trainees and apprentices through their exams and qualifying work experience, while also contributing to innovation and growth across Flex HQ. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing administrative and coordination support across all Flex Trainee programmes.
* Monitoring Flex’s apprenticeship programme, including attending regular reviews with apprentices and our training provider.
* Maintaining accurate records and reports for apprentices, interns, and trainees.
* Acting as a central point of contact for those on Flex’s Trainee programmes, including managing shared inboxes.
* Reporting to the Head of Trainee Success on programme activities, such as monthly project updates, mentoring sessions, study progress, exam outcomes, and trainee journals.
* Taking ownership of new initiatives and projects that contribute to the development and success of the Flex Trainee programme.
* Supporting the coordination and delivery of internship programmes.
* Assisting with performance management processes including probation reviews and appraisals.
* Helping to coordinate interviews and assessment centres in collaboration with the Talent team.
* Championing social mobility within the legal industry and supporting Flex’s mission to close the inequality gap.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in an administrative or coordination role, or in a legal / paralegal role.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience supporting diverse stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
* Ideally, experience in HR, recruitment, or early careers.
* A genuine interest in professional development and social mobility.
